The news is being pretty quiet, but in about 30 minutes the strongest storm in recorded history is about to hit The Philippines. I have 60 staff on the ground about 20 miles south of the centre. This is going to be apocalyptic.
Winds expected to exceed 230mph!

That is insane. I don't even know what would be considered adequate shelter in the face of winds that high, not to mention the expected foot of rain, and storm surge.
Theoretically, if someone had a Veyron in the Phillipines, and went full throttle into 230 mph headwinds would they only be able to go 30 mph? Wrapping my head around those wind speeds is pretty hard.

I think if you went full throttle into the wind, the car would be picked up and thrown quite a fair distance.

You'd need to find a round concrete house with 3ft thick walls on a hill to be safe from this storm.

True. Didn't even think of that.

I cant even attempt to kind of understand that kind of wind speed. The most I've ever seen was maybe 70mph ......
Good luck to your staff.

I never said you didn't have a constant fresh air supply, lighting, and food. And three different ways to escape

that's pretty expensive for your average inhabitant of the phillipines.
